Issue Position

We have been blessed with an abundance of biomass that could be used and, if properly harvested and maintained, sustained to create Vermont energy. We also have possibilities for hydro, wind, and most importantly solar - utilizing new technology that requires less direct sunlight to generate energy. This type of government investment - either through tax incentives or credits to businesses - will create jobs here in Vermont, lower our dependence on foreign oil, and serve as a model for sustainable locally produced energy.
